Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we head toward the Serengeti National Park at 8 am via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Seronera Campsite.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will have a morning game drive and later return to the campsite for an early, hot lunch. Our driver and chef will load everything on top of our safari Jeep and you will continue with game viewing en-route to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

Today, you will have an early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5 to 6 hours crater tour with a picnic lunch. Here, you will be able to see all of the Big Five. Later, you will proceed to Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight at the Migombani Campsite. Accommodation: Budget camping

Lake Manyara to Arusha National Park

After breakfast at the campsite, you will continue with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch. The lake occupies a large area of the park. The forest starts when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and the hot spring to the west of the park. The park is home to tree-climbing lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and baboon. The birdlife includes flamingos, ostriches, Egyptian geese, and more. After your picnic lunch, we proceed with the afternoon game drive. In the evening, we drive to a hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Arusha National Park then back to Arusha town

We depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, a 40-minute drive from Arusha town. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, affectionately known as the “Little Ngorongoro”. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and zebras can all be seen year-round as well as many different bird species. In the evening, we proceed back to Arusha.
